We have had an offer accepted on our first Homes of Hope House!
It’s a 4 bedroom detached house in Northenden. It’s a beautiful building in a conservation area only 5 minutes walk from Northenden Village. It’s now just a matter of time before we can begin to house and support vulnerable people, who have been marginalised or excluded. It’s amazing to see the first building in the chain of houses that will provide a structured and safe, family environment for our guests to help them into independent lives full of purpose.
We are looking to be in the property within a few months, so it’s very much the final stages! We have raised over £50,000 so far towards the deposit of the house which is amazing. We still need £40,000 to move forward with the house including furniture and all the equipment we will need to sustain the project.
We will be holding the “Big Give” on Sunday the 27th of January in the morning and evening Church meetings at King’s House. If you would like to give towards the project you can also give online right now using our “Just Give” page. When you give, know that you are giving to a larger vision of many houses, supporting and bringing Hope to many lives across Greater Manchester.
Praise God for this house and what we have seen so far! It’s going to be a very exciting year for Homes of Hope as this first property becomes a reality and as we move towards further properties and projects.
