September Mission
Recently God has spoken to us about evangelism. We have heard a lot recently about ‘going’ and taking the Good News of the Kingdom. We have heard about starting something new and being “fishers of men”. We have heard about seeing the need and experiencing God so that the world can experience him through us.
It has been incredible to see the King’s Church take hold of what God has been saying and putting it into practice. As a church we have just had a two week mission, where we went out on to the streets day after day to preach the Gospel to people and show them the love of God. During this time we have reached out and preached the Gospel one on one on the streets of Manchester to hundreds of people and we have seen God do awesome things. Over the two week period we saw lots of church members getting stuck in and taking the Good News to the streets of Manchester. We have seen at least 15 people respond to the gospel. And we have seen God heal many people and at work in the lives of many more people.
At the end of the two weeks of being out on the streets we had an event at King’s House with a meal, live entertainment and a testimony from a gifted evangelist Dave Roberts. On the night we saw 7 people get saved and quite a few people were healed.
We really believe that we have entered a new season as a church. We are a gifted, evangelistic people and as we allow God to use us we are going to continue to see more and more fruit as God adds to our family. We are so excited about what God is going to do through us as we give him our time and as we make ourselves available for him to use us.
