Members of King’s Church are ordinary people living in Greater Manchester who have discovered that the best person in all the world is Jesus Christ. We freely and willingly say that to love him is to obey him and follow his direction for our lives. This relationship with Jesus Christ is the foundation of all we see and believe as a Church. We are unashamed to say that we believe Jesus Christ, God the Son, rose from the dead and is alive today and is loved by many in Manchester.

As King’s Church we desire to Make Jesus Famous through our worship and praise. Whether it is on our own, in our homes together or in our times in King’s House, we show our love for God through our words, actions and lifestyle.

King’s Church intends to Make Jesus Famous to the Nations. This is expressed by the welcome we give to those in the City who have come from the nations of the world to the city. We seek to give those new to the city a ‘family in a foreign country’ by opening our homes, sharing our food and generally giving people a warm welcome. Many discover that where God’s people are it really is home from home.

We see every member of King’s Church representing Jesus Christ by living for him in their homes, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods. We believe that His name will be made more famous, that the fragrance and life of Christ will spread into every life, home and street in Manchester and beyond and many will come to know him in their lives.
