King's Church hosted another VIP event for Women who are homeless in November 2011. Women attended the event from local hostels or off the street in Manchester. The guests were given VIP treatment with the red carpet being rolled out and a drinks reception on arrival. A beautiful 2 course meal followed with live music from members of the church to accompany. People gave testimony at the evening about how their lives have been transformed and restored by Jesus Christ, and how his love & life had changed their whole lives. After the meal, the clothes and pamper room were open for Women to have their hair and nails done and to take some free clothes that had been generously donated by members of King's Church and local companies in Manchester. Each guest also received a toiletries gift bag.
