On 12th October 2010, King’s Church hosted another Ladies VIP Night. Around 60 homeless women from hostels, daycentres or from the streets attended, brought in by minibuses, and were greeted by a drinks reception, cupcakes, and friendly faces. The ladies were ushered upstairs and treated to a fantastic meals accompanied by lovely live music from Judith Ude. After the meal, the clothes and pamper rooms were opened, and the women were able to help themselves to whatever they chose, and receive VIP treatment as they got their hair and nails done. It was another exciting night for us as a church to demonstrate God’s love practically to the ladies in the city.
