RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) gives you new ways to keep up-to-date with what’s going on!

Many news server providers or weather services provide an RSS “feed” to allow users to find out what’s happening instantly. An RSS feed will usually contain the latest headlines or events for the relevant area. If you’ve ever been to a website and found a section titled “news from the BBC” or “latest headlines from CNN” that’s usually RSS.

We provide three RSS feeds right now to help you keep up-to-date. You can click on these to have a quick look at the contents (be sure to come back and read the rest of this page afterwards!)

Articles – all the latest articles you see on the front page

Audio – all the latest audio files from our sunday mornings and other teaching times

Video – a selection of our video presentations

Two ways you can put RSS to use:

igoogle – If you have an igoogle account you can now customise your homepage and add your own content. Choose “Add Stuff” and then “Add by URL”, paste in any of the three links above and click “add”.

feedreader – You can use an RSS reader like feedreader to check and update RSS feeds of your choice constantly. Download and install the software and then choose “add” and copy & paste the three RSS links above. You can also use feedreader to
download and read most blogs.
