Vision

What we see as a church determines who we are. We have seen something together and we are moving purposefully towards it as a community.

“God’s secret plan has now been revealed to us; it is a plan centred on Christ, designed long ago according to his good pleasure. And this is his plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ everything in heaven and on earth.” (Ephesians 1:9,10 NLT)

God has called his people, the Church, to be part of seeing this plan fulfilled. He has filled each of us with the Holy Spirit, empowering and enabling us to represent Him in all His love, power and authority. We refer to this as “Making Jesus Famous.”

We are longing and moving towards the day when “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14 NIV).

The Bible teaches us that as part of God’s worldwide Church, as a local body we have a vital part to play in seeing that happen:
• We see King’s Church growing in authority, announcing and extending the Kingdom of God, corporately and through its individual members.
• We see King’s Church maturing, in love with Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit and firmly established on the Word of God.
• We see King’s Church equipping and sending its people to be Christ to the city and to the world.
• We see King’s Church alive in worship, living genuine, sincere Christian lives, fulfilled in service and transformational in effect.
• We see King’s Church full of people who love and care for one another, are mutually accountable and are committed to serving God together.
• We see King’s Church living in total freedom and security, served by anointed spiritual leaders with apostles, prophets and other ministries operating in the life of the church.
